Mary L. Koppa, 91, passed away June 28, 2025.

Mary Leone Koppa, daughter of Anthony "Tony" and Leona (Bonk) Luhm was born September 9, 1933.  She attended St. Patrick's Elementary and High Schools, graduating in 1951 with the only class to graduate from St. Pat's Central as the name was changed the following year to Regis.

On May 9, 1953 at St. Patrick's Church, she married Francis "Frank" Koppa whom she met in Wausau where she was living.  They lived in Wausau for a few years, then returned back to Eau Claire in 1956.

Mary was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her loving husband Francis, son Jeffrey "Jeff" (Debbie) Koppa and daughter Denise Eckel.  Four grandsons, Eric (Kirsten) Koppa, Darren Koppa, Jacob "Jake" (Kristy) Eckel, Jonathan (Jamie) Koppa.  One granddaughter Sarah (Mike) Larson.  6 great granddaughters Alexandria Lynn Eckel, Jessica Koppa, Electra Koppa, Elizabeth Marie Koppa, Rosemary Koppa and Stella Koppa.  4 great grandsons, Darren Lee Koppa Jr., Olaf Michael Larson, Liam Francis Koppa and Aiden John Koppa.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Leona.  4 brothers, Anthony, Clarence "Brownie", James and Gerald "Jerry".  Special Nephew, Dick "Richard", and other Nieces and Nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, burial will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
