Obituary

Mary Kyle Mann, 84, of Eau Claire died Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at Clairemont Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born October 12, 1917 to George and Mabel (Miller) Kyle in Downsville, Wisconsin.\r\nShe attended school in Downsville and graduated from Menomonie High School. Mary attended UW-Eau Claire for three years and earned her BA Degree in Elementary Education the University of Minnesota.\r\nShe married Leonard Mann on December 20, 1942 in Denver, CO.\r\nMary was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, Epiphany Altar Guild and Ladies' Auxiliary. She had been a teacher for Epiphany Lutheran School during the 1960's. She served as a substitute elementary teacher in the Eau Claire School District until her retirement.\r\nShe is survived by many nieces and nephews, including Michael (Cheryl) Bean, and Marilyn (Ronald) Robelia, both of Menomonie; as well as several great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard in 1978, and her parents.\r\nFuneral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 29, 2001 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, with Pastor Frederick C. Sauder officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Downsville. Friends and relatives may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.\r\nFamily suggests that memorials be directed to Eau Claire Lutheran School.
