Mary J. McConnell, 76, 926 Cedar St., died Friday, June 27, 1997 at Luther Hospital. She was born May 29, 1921 in Eau Claire to John and Ruth ( Hickok) Sheehy. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1939. Mary married Herbert E. McConnell in Reno,Nevada on August 24, 1945.\r\nShe is survived by a son, John of Ochopee,FL; and two grandchildren, Timothy and Carrie McConnell both of LaCrosse.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert in 1977.\r\nFuneral Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Chris W. Myers officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (today) and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
