Obituary

Mary E. McFaul, 81, of 1128 E. 5th St., Altoona, died Sunday, September 3, 2000 at Luther Hospital. She was born in Ashland, Wisconsin on April 25, 1919 to William and Anna (Quella) Klemmer. She graduated from Ashland High School in 1937, and later moved to Eau Claire. It was there she met her future husband, Glenn J. McFaul. They were married in Eau Claire on June 25, 1946. \r\nMary worked at National Presto Industries and then almost 20 years at Sacred Heart Hospital until her retirement in 1981 to care for Glenn during his illness.\r\nSurvivors include, three daughters, Janice (LeRoy) Teigen of Chetek, Judith (Leonard) Martin of Hallie and Diana (Clayton Jr.) McNamara of Chippewa Falls; six grandchildren, Bill (Kerrin) Teigen of Eau Claire, Phillip Martin of Appleton, Abbi (Dave) Ellsworth of Eau Claire, Adam McNamara of Chippewa Falls, Jackie (Brent) Conrad of Cornell and Anna McNamara of Chippewa Falls; four great grandchildren; a brother, Harold (Bernice) Klemmer of Milwaukee; a sister, Annabelle (Wilfred) Velie of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nMary was preceded in death her husband, Glenn in 1981; and two brothers, Bill and Robert.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
