MARY T. ROFFLER, 14, of 2520 Vine St., died Wednesday, July 19, 2000 at Luther Hospital following a lengthy illness with cancer. She was born on June 15, 1986 in Eau Claire to John and Pamela (Simon) Roffler. \r\nMary was baptized July 20, 1986 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, was confirmed May 21st at Epiphany Lutheran church and graduated from 8th grade at Eau Claire Lutheran School May 24, 2000. Her chosen confirmation verse was "And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age". Matthew 28: 20\r\nMary enjoyed shopping, cross-stitching, reading and playing volleyball at school. She loved working with and helping little children at church and day care. Mary gave and received much love and support throughout her life, especially the past three years. The Lord blessed her in many ways, through many people. \r\nSurvivors include her parents; brothers, Seth and Luke at home, Michael (Cori) and their daughter, Emma Cate of West Des Moines, IA, Mitchell (Michelle) and son, Mitchell Jr. of Mobile AL; grandparents, Jerry and Violet Roffler of Chetek, John and Vivian Simon of Antigo ; an uncle, Tom (Cindy) Simon of Oregon, WI; aunts, Sally Kidwell of Garfield Heights,OH, Peggy Simon of Houston, TX, Vicky (Bill) Abing of Ladysmith, Val (Roger) Wood of Eau Claire; many cousins; and her godparents, Morris "Buck" and Suzanne Lear of Eau Claire. A celebration of her life will be at 11 am Saturday, July 22, 2000 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 3031 Epiphany Lane, (off Truax Blvd) with Pastor Brent L. Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Epiphany Lutheran Church and an hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.
