MARY L. WHITE, 55, of 2755 3rd St., died Sunday, February 11, 2001 at her home. She was born on July 29, 1945 in Eau Claire to Clifford and Mabel (Schlegel) Thompson. Mary grew up in Eau Claire and graduated from Memorial High School in 1963. She married Patrick M. White in St. Paul, MN.\r\nMary was a cook at DeLong Middle School, and had worked in food service with the Eau Claire Public Schools for over twenty years.\r\nShe was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Mary was a Den Mother for her son's and neighborhood children for many years with the Cub Scout's.\r\nSurvivors include her parents, Clifford and Mabel; husband, Patrick; three sons, Kirk (Rebecca) White of Plover, Kreg and Kelly White both of Eau Claire, a daughter, Kori (Sean) Benzine of Kilauea, HI, on the island of Kauai; a grandson, Gunther; two brothers, Rodney (Lorraine) Thompson of Chippewa Falls and Ronald (Carole) Thompson of Eau Claire; two uncles Louis (Marge) Schlegel of Mondovi and Jerry (Lorrie) Schlegel of Goldendale, WA.; an aunt, Wilma Voll of Eau Claire; two nieces and a nephew.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her grandparents; and aunts and uncles.\r\nThe family request memorials are directed to the Eau Claire Humane Society or the donor's choice.
