Mary F. Wolfe, 86, of Eau Claire, died Monday, March 29, 2004 at Luther Hospital. She was born September 8, 1917 in Decorah, Iowa, the daughter of Torkel and Anna (Solsten) Martinson. Mary married Albert J. Wolfe on June 26, 1948 in Caledonia, MN.\r\nThey lived in La Crosse and then moved to Eau Claire in 1966. She worked over eighteen years as a cashier at the Luther Hospital cafeteria until retiring in 1983.\r\nShe was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and had been a member of Eau Claire Women of the Moose Chapter #557.\r\nShe is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Martinson of Decorah, IA; many nieces and nephews; three stepsons and a stepdaughter.\r\nMary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert in 1975; five brothers, Truman, Michael, George, Melvin and her twin Harold Martinson; two sisters, Esther Smith and Ruth Odden; and a stepson. \r\nFuneral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April, 1, 2003 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
