MARYLOU PATTERSON, 69, formerly of Eau Claire, died Thursday, March 11,1999 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born on June 5, 1929 in Eau Claire to Halmer and Alma (Anderson) Baker.\r\nShe received her Bachelor and Masters Degrees in education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. On December 20, 1950 she married George "Pat" Patterson. Marylou taught high school English throughout her teaching career. She taught in Stanley-Boyd, Rhinelander, Chippewa Falls, and taught twenty two years at Memorial High School in Eau Claire before retiring in 1986. She then worked for Professional Education Systems, Inc. for several years.\r\nMarylou was active in many professional organizations, performed in theater productions at UW-Eau Claire, and was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church. In 1991 she moved to Arizona and resided there until her death.\r\nSurvivors include, her husband, Pat, of Sun City,AZ; her daughter, Lynne (Frank) Maslowski of Eau Claire; two grandaughters, Megan Maslowski of Washington, D.C. and Lindsay Maslowski of LaCrosse, WI.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Halmer L. Baker. \r\nMemorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, March 19 at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home, with Pastor Gordon D. Thorpe officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. \r\n
