Michael David Darsie passed away peacefully at his home on September 10th, 2023. Mike was born January 22nd, 1953 in Coon Rapids, MN to Ronald and Elizabeth Darsie. He graduated in 1971 from Coon Rapids Senior High. He served in the US Navy. Mike married Cheryl Wise on November 6, 1992. He worked for Chicago Northwestern Railroad as a conductor from 1974-1991. He then worked for Cardinal glass from 1992-2018. Mike enjoyed woodworking and classic cars. He is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughters Jennifer (Erik), Eide Victoria, MN, Joy (Josh) Kloti, Moundsview, MN, step-children Jason (Danielle) Wise, Chippewa Falls, Krista (Ty) Phoenix, Sublette, KS and Andrew (Kaylee) Wise of Eau Claire. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, brothers Rod (Pam) Darsie, Scott (Faye) Darsie, Tom Darsie and sister Vicki Stringer. Also survived by brother-in-law Kyle Brown and sister-in-law Carol Darsie and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Carolyn Brown and brother Jeffrey Darsie. Services will be held at Harvestime Church, 3625 Southwind Dr. Eau Claire on September 23rd, 2023. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at 11am. Pastor Kim Buckman will be officiating along with Pastor Marv Juve. Arrangements were entrusted to Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services.
