MICHAEL J. WAHL, 44, of N6269 Hwy. 53/63, Spooner, died Thursday, January 28, 1999 at his home. He was born on March 4, 1954 to Ronald and Joan (Neibauer) Wahl in Eau Claire. Mike graduated from Memorial High School with the class of 1972. He married Pamela Sieg in Eau Claire at Epiphany Lutheran Church on May 16, 1981. They lived ten years in Coeur d' Alene,ID, and four years in Grand Marais,MN, before moving to Spooner in 1996. Mike and Pam owned and operated Creative Log Structures in Spooner Township. They attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Spooner. He was a member of the Canadian Log Builders Association. He loved the outdoors and the opportunity to get out and ride his motorcycle.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Pam; two daughters, Ashley, at home, and Shannon of Eau Claire; his mother, Joan (Bill) Culver of Cumberland; a sister, Ronda (Roger) Schneider and two nephews, Kenny and Dougie Schneider all of Chippewa Falls; a step-brother, David (Rose) Culver of Barnes; two step-sisters, Kjersti (Terry) Newcomb of Menomonie and Katie Culver of Mt. Horeb; and his mother-in-law, Irene Sieg of Altoona.He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald in 1996; his grandparents; and his father-in-law, Erv Sieg.\r\nMike will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son and brother.\r\nFuneral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Epiphany Lutheran Church with Pastor Brent L. Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Monday at the church.
