\r\nMichael James Webb "Mike", age 42, died peacefully on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from a brain aneurysm.\r\nMike was born in Milwaukee, WI on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 1967. He is the son of James and Sandra (Peterson) Webb, of Eau Claire. \r\nHe graduated from North High School in 1986 and later from UWEC in 1990 where he golfed on the Blugold golf team. He was employed at Charter Bank as an Assistant Vice President.\r\nHe is survived by his parents, Jim and Sandy (Peterson) Webb, of Eau Claire; his children, Lexi, Casi and Nate and their mother, Wendy Blaskowski, all of Eau Claire; his sister, Kari (Jason) Fisher and two special little nieces, Sydney and Shay Fisher, all of Eau Claire; his grandparents, George and Shirley Webb, of Chetek; his godparents, Shirley and Aaron Lee, of Bloomer; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, Brian Bohman, Craig Railton, Michele Komp and his newfound pal, Harley.\r\nHe is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hans and Coral Peterson, Uncle Dave, Uncle Bob, Uncle Denny and Cousin Wayne.\r\nMike adored and worshipped his children. At a very young age he mentored and coached all three of them in golf. Throughout the golf season you could always find "the foresome" out early or late on a local golf course. His girls play golf at Missouri Western State University and Nate at Memorial High School. His children were his world. He had an indescribable bond with them that will give them the strength to keep living the life Mike paved for them.\r\nMike's "heaven" was his cabin up north where he hunted and fished with his best friend, Nate. He loved the solitude and beauty of the northwoods. God chose to end Mike's life in these woods while he was hunting. \r\nGod took you way too early, Mike, but at least he claimed you while you were in a place you would have chosen for yourself.\r\nFuneral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1310 Main Street, Eau Claire with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.\r\nMike, we are thankful you did not suffer. You will forever be in our daily thoughts. We love you so much and already miss you beyond what words can express.
