Mildred I. Fletty, 94, formerly of 2204 Vine St., died Thursday, February 6, 2003 at Dove Healthcare. She was born on February 29, 1908 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Alfred and Ida (Manor) Freid.\r\nMildred married Waldmar Fletty in Eau Claire on September 19, 1925. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.\r\nSurvivors include her three children, Elaine (Ken) Mikesell of Altoona and Winter Haven, FL, Tom (Erma) Fletty of Eau Claire, Shirley (Les) Weichel of Osseo; four grandchildren, Jerry (Kitty) Mikesell of Chino, CA, Judy Mikesell (Michael Paus) of Tomahawk, James Fletty and Mike (Jeanne) Fletty both of Eau Claire; five great-grandchildren, Amber and Samantha Mikesell both of Chino, CA, Craig (Shelly) and Travis (Kirsten) Holbrook both of Eau Claire and Jessica Anderson of Medford; two great-great grandchildren, Brandon Holbrook and Zachery Anderson; two sisters, Jane Pendergast and Edna Seager both of Eau Claire; a brother, Joe (Mae Margaret) Freid of Sacramento, CA; nieces; nephews; and friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Waldmar "Balla" Fletty; grandson, Steve Fletty; and six brothers, George, John, Walter, Alfred Jr., Ernie and Ralph.\r\nFuneral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2003 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor John E. Hosmann officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington. Family and friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday, both at the funeral home.
