Mildred E. McMillan, age 86, of Eau Claire, died peacefully at her daughter's home in Mansfield, TX. She was born in Chicago, IL on February 16, 1928, to John and Mary (Watson) Behrens. Mildred graduated from Augusta High School in 1945. Mildred married Clarence "Bud" C. McMillan on October 9, 1948, in Hudson, WI. She worked as a bookkeeper at Luther Hospital until her retirement. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that enjoyed doing puzzles, fishing with her husband, traveling and going on trips with her family. She was a great seamstress in her early years and was a tremendous cook/baker. Mildred is survived by her children, Michael (Jacquline) McMillan of Augusta, WI, Timothy (Sheree) McMillan of Eau Claire, WI, and Carol (Jimmy) Pallett of Mansfield, TX; grandchildren, Jon, Stephanie (Fiancé Todd Lundquist) McMillan, William (Fiancée Monica Walter-Belden) McMillan, Scott (Fiancée Martha Gerry) McMillan, and Amy Pallett; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Molly, Connor and Emily; along with many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence "Bud"; infant daughter, Janice; granddaughter, Elizabeth; and siblings, Jack, Al, Virginia, Edna, Ruth, and Dorothy. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. Lexington Ave., Eau Claire, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Pastor Brahm Semmler Smith will be officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.
