MILDRED E. "SIS" JOHNSON, 88, of 733 W. Hamilton Ave., died Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at Luther Hospital. She was born on November 9, 1912 in Eau Claire to August and Sigrid (Brandrup) Hansen. \r\nSis married the love of her life, J. E."Jack" Johnson on June 22, 1932. They lived much of their lives in Madison, where she remained after Jack's death in 1965, until moving to Eau Claire in 1997.\r\nSurvivors include two sons, Steven (Nancy) of Minneapolis, and Richard (Betsy) of Falls Church, VA; five granddaughters; one grandson; eight great-grand-children; three sisters, Erna Peterson, Ebba Heinan, and Shirley (Robert E.) Field, all of Eau Claire; and nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Ione Bruss.\r\nFuneral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Grace Lutheran Church Chapel, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.\r\n
