MOYA O. NOVAK, 48, of 510 Gilbert Ave., Eau Claire died Monday, October 6, 1997 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born November 20, 1948 to Robert and Donna (Struble)Odonovich in Crosby,MN. She grew up in Crosby and graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School with the Class of 1966. Moya married Robert Novak on November 18, 1975 in Emily,MN. She earned her B.A. degree from UWEC in 1989. Prior to her illness she was employed at UWEC as a Program Assistant in the American Ethnic Coordinating Office. \r\nMoya was involved in the cancer support group, and was an active parent in Park School, Little League, Football and the Northern Wisconsin Youth Ballet. She especially supported the endeavors of her other family of students in the American Ethnic Office.\r\nSurvivors include a son, Nikolas at home; two daughters, Natalie at home and Debora Runnion of Portland,OR; her parents, Robert and Donna Odonovich of Black River Falls; a brother, Mark Odonovich of Eau Claire; four sisters, Laurie (Dan) Norstedt of Eau Claire, Yvonne (Tony) Eichberger of Black River Falls, Lisa (Jim) Heberlein of LaCrosse, and Robin (Mike) Jarrett of Hixton; four nieces, Anna, Jenna, Maria and Jaclyn; four nephews Tony, Pete, Matt and Josh.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her grandparents and an aunt and uncle.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at University Lutheran at the Ecumenical Religious Center with Pastor Don Wisner officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday (Today) at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Wednesday at University Lutheran.\r\nIn lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate that memorials be directed to the Moya O.
