Obituary

Myrna C. Moe, 93, passed peacefully in her sleep early Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Syverson Lutheran Home. She was born on May 16, 1907 in Dunn County near Wheeler, Wisconsin to Carl and Amalia (Hanson) Misselt. \r\nMyrna married Henry Moe on June 26, 1926 at Prairie Farm, WI. They farmed during the early years of their marriage in the Wheeler and Colfax area before moving to Eau Claire in 1941.\r\nShe was a member of First Lutheran Church where she was very active in church circle. Myrna loved to fish and care for her flower gardens, and she was out early every morning to care for feeding of the birds at her home.\r\nSurvivors include two daughters, Arla (Juel) Stoner and Marlys Hugdahl of Eau Claire; one son, Terry (Kay) Moe of Onalaska; six grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) Stoner, Randy (Cheryl) Stoner, Bradley (and friend, Jean Kronenberg) Hugdahl, Kyle Hugdahl, Dr. David Moe and Kari Moe; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Sylvia Hazel Lee of Colfax; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1978; a son-in-law, Ronald Hugdahl; two brothers, Arnold and Orville Misselt; and a sister, Alice Manteuffel.\r\nMyrna was a caring, loving person who will be sadly missed by all.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
