Myrtle A. Amundson, 93, of 7208 Edgewater Court, died Tuesday, August 13, 1996 at the M.B. Syverson Lutheran Home. She was born July 1, 1903 in Osseo, Wisconsin to Palmer and Alice (Beswick) Back. She graduated from Blair High School with the class of 1921. Myrtle married Floyd J. Amundson on June 6, 1923 in Winona, Minnesota. She was a member of Christ Church Cathedral Episcopal.\r\nSurvivors include a son, Floyd Jr. of Stuart, FL; a daughter, Susan (Gary) Kruger of Eau Claire; three grandchildren, Jon Amundson of Grand Marais, MN; Mark Kruger and Michele Kruger Nowak both of Eau Claire; a great-grandson, Cody Kruger of Eau Claire; four great-granddaughters, Rachel, Britany and Trisha Nowak and Camille Kruger all of Eau Claire; many nieces and nephews.\r\nMyrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd in 1981; two brothers, Willis and Chester Back; two sisters, Florence Wood and Hazel Briggs.\r\nMemorial Services will be at 2 P.M. Friday at Christ Church Cathedral Episcopal with The Very Rev. H. Scott Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery, Town of Washington. Friends may call 1:30 P.M. Friday until time of services at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home is serving the family.
