MYRTLE L. SANDEEN, 87, formerly of Eau Claire and Rothschild, died Thursday, January 15, 1998 at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation South in Chippewa Falls. She was born July 29, 1910 to Albert H. and Hattie (Rose) Mittelstadt in Eau Claire. She graduated from Luther Hospital School of Nursing in 1932. Myrtle married Elmer B. Sandeen on April 27, 1956 in Angola,Indiana. They lived in Eau Claire and then movedto Rothchild in 1962.\r\nSurvivors include a sister, Iris Rotnem of Cuyahoga Falls,Ohio; several nieces and nephews, including Sandra Vanek, Duane Suckow, Donetta Knudson, Denny Suckow, Jon Suckow, Roseanne Rotnem-Price, and Daniel Rotnem.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer in 1988; her parents; a brother, Roy Mittelstadt; a sister, Maybelle Suckow; and a nephew, Jerome Mittelstadt.\r\nFuneral Services will at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas W. Bryan officiating. Burial will be in St. Katherine Cemetery in the Town of Red Cedar, Dunn County. Friends may call an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
