Nancy Lee Flick, age 83, of Jim Falls, WI, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019, at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls, with her family by her side. Nancy was born January 28, 1936, in Fairchild, WI, to the late Roy and Eleanor (Schlichter) Gregory. She graduated from Menomonie High School with the Class of 1954. Following high school, Nancy began working as a caregiver at St. Joseph's Hospital and the home health and hospice program as well as nursing homes. Nancy then became a cook for many years at different bars and restaurants in the area. She also worked at Headstart, where she served in many capacities. Nancy married Eugene "Gene" Flick in Augusta, WI. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, crocheting and knitting, and taking drives around the area. She loved to try her luck with lottery tickets. She was "mom" to many, always caring for those around her. Survivors include her husband, Gene of Jim Falls; children, Jeff (Sue) Hughes of Chippewa Falls, Tom Hughes of Jim Falls, David Hughes, Jr. of Chippewa Falls, Lori (Henry) Hughes-Meyer of Jim Falls, Melissa LeeAnn (Ruark) Neuenfeldt of Fall Creek, Eugene (Debora) Flick, Jr. of Chippewa Falls, Ellie (Scott) Edington of Three Lakes; grandchildren, Amy (Dan) McGuire, Mike (Sandy) Hughes, Jake (Jessica) Sweeney, Aleah Hughes, Zach Hughes, Steven Hughes, Jamie (Tammy) Hughes, David (Amy) Hughes, IV, Elisa (Matt) Steinmetz, Tessa Roen, David (Rachael) Roen, Cheyenne Lee (Fatos) Seeley, Crystal Lee Kendall, Alyssa Lee Kendall, Courtney Flick, Austin (Shawna) Flick, Adam (Bri) Edington, Gabriel (Bryce) Edington, Seth Edington; many, many, many great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. Nancy is further survived by her siblings, Dennis Gregory, Jean Rice, and Judy (Steve) Jones. Nancy is preceded in death by 3 children, Ellie Mae, Wade and Lisa; and siblings, Wayne Gregory and Eileen Reider. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at New Hope Assembly of God, 318 S 7th St, Cornell, WI, with Rev. John Kilde officiating.
