Nancy Ann Snyder, 53, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Sacred Heart Hospital after a long battle with cancer.\r\nShe was born June 13, 1955, in Eau Claire to Orville&Marlys "Dolly" Gynnild.\r\nNancy was a co-owner of Sign Art Co., which she and her husband, Dirk, started in 1975.\r\nNancy enjoyed spending time with friends and family at her lake home in Chetek and boating on her pontoon. She also loved to travel, have a long lunch at a sidewalk café, and offshore fish. She was an avid Brewers fan, animal lover, and enjoyed feeding&watching birds.\r\nNancy will be missed by her husband, Dirk of Eau Claire; two sons, Matthew of Eau Claire and Joseph of Gainesville, FL; a daughter, Kristen Snyder of Eau Claire; her mother, Marlys "Dolly" Gynnild of Altoona; two sisters, Mary (Bob) Osborne of Eau Claire, and Jane (Gary) Gilchrist of Shawano; mother-in-law, Leola (Victor) Demoe of Eau Claire; two brothers-in-law, Paul Snyder of Eau Claire, and Kevin Snyder of Hudson; sister-in-law, Denise Lydecker of Keller, TX; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives & friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her father, Orville Gynnild; father-in-law, Leo Snyder; and her yellow lab, Kelly.\r\nFuneral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Ave., Eau Claire, with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Friends may call at First Lutheran Church from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, and also one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
