NAOMI "SIS" (LENMARK) STEINMETZ, 90, of 3536 Pickerign Place, died Friday, December 10, 1999 at Dove Healthcare Nursing Home. \r\nSis was born to Peter Oscar and "Emma" (LaDuc) Lenmark in Eau Claire. She was raised in Eau Claire and lived most of her life here. She married Harold Steinmetz on March 31, 1928 in Minneapolis. \r\nSis was a life-long member of First Congregational United Church of Christ.\r\nSurvivors include two daughters, Donna (Howard) Berg of New Hope, MN, and Delma (Ron) Geurts of Eau Claire; a son, Peter (Carol) Steinmetz, Eau Claire; eight grandchildren: John and Jim Berg, Peter Ring, Julie Dilley, Lisa Stevenson, Mike, Mark, and Mitchell Steinmetz; six great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; a sister, Yvonne (Harvey) Haynes of Sierra Vista, AZ; many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; son, John; and five brothers, Voigt, Aaron, Pierre, Jacques, and Alger.\r\nFuneral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with the Reverend Ken Watt officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. \r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to First Congregational United Church of Christ.
