Nicholas "Nick" J. Buck of Chippewa Falls, WI, was taken much too soon and given his wings on November 22, 2017 in his home. Nick was born in Eau Claire, WI, on September 10, 1977, to Jean R. Buck (Smith) and Dennis J. Buck. Nick attended North High School then began working at Wausau Supply before moving to Chippewa Falls where he began his career as a Floor Supervisor at Chippewa River Industries. Nick enjoyed his bachelor life and always knew how to have a good time, whether it was relaxing at home and playing with his beloved cat, Fritz, or spending a night out with friends. Above all though, Nick's true passion was fishing. No matter if it was a hot summer day or a cold winter one, he was always anxious to go. Nick also loved listening to, and singing, heavy metal music, showing off his tattoos, and strength, and lighting off fireworks. Nick will be lovingly remembered by both sets of parents: Dennis and Wendy Buck of Eau Claire, Jean Buck and Lonnie Jaenke of Elk Mound; siblings: Angie, Sam, Dylan, Hannah, Chris, Maryah, and Dante; nieces and nephews: Kym (Mike), Leah, Morgan, Emma, Denzel, and Zariah; great nieces and nephew: Brett, Jaylin, and Ivy. Nick will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and those whose lives he touched with his good-hearted humor, big bear hugs, and contagious smile. Visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Church, 1120 Cedar St Eau Claire, WI, from 1 pm to 5 pm on Thursday, November 30, 2017, with a memorial service to begin at 3 pm. A final resting place will be chosen by the family at a later date. You will be forever in our hearts. Rock on, Nick. Until we meet again.
