Nilah M. Goller, 91, of St. John's Apartments, Eau Claire, died Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Dove Healthcare Center. She was born April 14, 1915 in Bloomer, Wisconsin to William and Anna (Botten) Fritz. \r\nShe married Julius A. Goller on April 28, 1936, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bloomer. They later moved to Eau Claire where they raised their five children. Nilah particularly enjoyed sewing and baking for her family and gathering with her friends and neighbors for coffee and home-made desserts. She also worked as a waitress in area restaurants, including Actor's Drug Store, Caramel Corn, and the downtown Country Kitchen. Nilah was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, which she attended for over 50 years.\r\nSurvivors include her son, Thomas (Nancy) Goller of Galesville; three daughters, Nancy Bezanson of Eau Claire, Beverly (Christian) Selmer of Knoxville, TN, and Joan (John) Bryant of Boca Raton, FL; a sister, Eunice Keller of Bloomer, a sister-in-law, Ruth Goller of Cornell; seven grandchildren, Brian(Anne) Bezanson, Jill (Mark) Breunig, Susan (Jason) Herz, Lisa (Mike) Gunderson, Amy (Kevin) Matiak, Anne (Ben) Carlson, and Laura Goller; eleven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Julius; a son, Michael; brother, Wilbur Fritz; three sisters, Bernice Henning, Elvera Olson and Delores Schultz; and a granddaughter-in-law, Janey Bezanson.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2006, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Karen Hofstad officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from5 to 8 pm Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and at the church one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.\r\nThe family requests that memorials may be directed to the "Love Fund" or to "Seniors and Shut-In Ministry" at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1804 Highland Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54701\r\n
