Obituary

Norma Lorraine Erickson, 80, of 3712 Damon St. and formerly of 1528 Emery St., died Friday, September 7, 2001 at her residence.\r\nShe was born on October 16, 1920 to Edwin K. and Anna G. (Gilbertson) Erickson in Eau Claire. Norma graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School and attended Vocational School. She had a clerical position at Uniroyal for 45 years, retiring in 1985.\r\nNorma was a lifelong, active member of First Lutheran Church, and had taught Sunday School there. She was an avid golfer and had been a member of the Uniroyal Golf League.\r\nSurvivors include two brothers, Edward G. Erickson and Leonard (Ardis) H. Erickson, both of Madison; and four nieces and four nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jeanette Erickson and Ellen Warden; and a brother, Dan M. Erickson.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2001 at First Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church. \r\nFamily suggests memorials be directed to First Lutheran Church or to Alzheimer's Association - Indianhead Chapter, 1227 B Menomonie St., Eau Claire, WI 54703.
