Norman A. Johnson, 85, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home in Altoona. He was born in the town of Drammen on March 11, 1919, the son of John M. and Amanda (Olson) Johnson. Norman married Lila E. Sather on September 30, 1944, in the town of Drammen.\r\nHe worked as a yard foreman for thirty-three years at Walker Brothers' Lumber Yard.\r\nSurvivors include his two daughters, Sharon (Steven) Hotchkiss of Eau Claire, and Susan (Frank) Fedor of Gurnee, IL; three grandsons, Charles (Vickie) Hotchkiss of Mankato, MN, Jeff (Missy) Fedor of Blaine, MN and Greg Fedor of Winona, MN; a great granddaughter, Lila Fedor of Blaine, MN; brother, J. Allen Johnson of Eau Claire; two sisters, Virginia Dittner of Eau Claire and Evelyn Stillman of Zephyr Hills, FL; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife, Lila in 1996; a brother, Harold Johnson; and two sisters, Mildred Jensen and Ruth Walker.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2004 at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church. \r\nIn lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be directed to First Lutheran Church,1005 Oxford Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54703.\r\n
