Norman A. Larson, 64, of 1914 Bellevue Avenue, died Saturday, August 17, 1996 at Luther Hospital. He was born September 9, 1931 in Eau Claire to Carl and Esther (Larson) Larson. He graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1949. Norman married Muriel K. Anderson at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Strum on November 19, 1955. He retired from the inspection department at Uniroyal in 1991 after 39 years of service. He was a life long member of First Lutheran Church. Norman enjoyed many family gatherings with his grandchildren which often included pleasure boating, cottage activities and antique cars.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Muriel; two sons, Jeff and Dan both of Eau Claire; three daughters, Jeanne (Ken) Liesen of St. Charles,IL; Gwyn (Tom) Ohms of Eau Claire and Barb (Neal) White of Plainview,MN; six grandchildren, Melissa, Mark, Jessica, Paul, Andrea and Erik; a brother, Don (Bev) Larson of Eau Claire; many nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 A.M. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert E. Esse officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call 4 to 8 P.M. Monday (Today) at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.\r\nThe family requests memorials be directed to First Lutheran Church.
