OLGA G. FLYNN, 91, formerly of 924 Vine St., died Tuesday, October 27, 1998, at the Violet Tschetter Memorial Nursing Home in Huron, South Dakota. She was born on April 2, 1907 in the town of Brunswick, Eau Claire County to Alfred Jacob and Augusta Amelia (Klopp) Hangartner. Olga grew up there and received her education at Eau Claire County Rural Normal School graduating in 1925.\r\n On August 2, 1928, Olga married Larry Flynn at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The couple lived in Eau Claire where Olga taught country school in Eau Claire County for several years. She later worked at Sears Roebuck in the Ready Wear Department for twenty years, retiring in 1968. Her husband, Larry, died in 1972 and in 1989 she moved to Huron, SD.\r\nOlga was a charter member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church, a member of the Rosary Confraternity, and a member of the V.F.W. Auxillary Post #305.\r\nSurvivors include one son, James (Donna) Flynn of Huron; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Flynn of Wausau; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry; and a son, William in 1966.\r\nHer funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, at St. Patrick's Catholic Churchwith Father John W. Steiner officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the town of Washington. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home where there will be a 7 p.m. Rosary Service. \r\nWhile in Eau Claire, the family will be staying at the Bob Schoettle residence.
