Olga Morrison, 89, of Eau Claire died Friday, December 24, 2004, at Dove Healthcare. She was born to immigrant parents, John and Mary (Lien) Eng, on September 13, 1915, in Hersey, Wisconsin. At the age of four, she moved with her family to a farm near Knapp. She attended grade school at Cady Creek.\r\nIn her earlier years, Olga worked as a housekeeper and later did factory work at National Presto and Uniroyal.\r\nOlga married John Morrison in Mason City, Iowa on July 1, 1946. They made the Eau Claire area their home.\r\nShe enjoyed doing embroidery work-knitting and crocheting and was a meticulous housekeeper.\r\nOlga was a faithful member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd where she belonged to the Elizabeth Circle. She also belonged to the Sons of Norway.\r\nSurvivors include two daughters, Lena Gaul of Sycamore, IL and Mary Townsend of Switzerland, FL; daughter-in-law, Roxie Morrison of Rochelle, IL; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Marian Eng; and brother, Simon Eng both of Knapp; special friends, Mac and Kay McQuillan, Lolly Gilboy, Ruth Longfield, and Edith Metzig; and several nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; daughter, Marcia Ann Eng; son, Johnny Morrison; son-in-law, Don Zeigler; and sister, Selma Eng.\r\nFuneral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd with Pastor Paul D.L. Oppedahl officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Wednesday at church.\r\nOlga's family requests memorials are directed to Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1120 Cedar Street, Eau Claire, WI 54703.\r\n
