Olive "Ollie" C. Lintz, 93, of Eau Claire, died Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Angelspace. \r\nShe was born in Eau Claire on February 10, 1915, the daughter of Leonard and Ethel (Ecklund) Olson. \r\nOlive married Lee Lintz in Eau Clare on Thanksgiving Day in 1938. Together, they enjoyed their weekends at their cottage in Chetek. Lee passed away in 1984.\r\nShe worked as a manager at the Outdoor Sportshop in Eau Claire until her retirement in 1980. Ollie loved going out for Taco Tuesday with her close friends (Emily, Ned&Joel) and watching Brett Favre and the Packers. Throughout her life she was a caregiver to all those who came into her life.\r\nOlive is survived by her nieces Jenny Israel of Oregon, Ill., and Sheila Sather of Florida; nephews, James Page and Michael Olson of Eau Claire; special great nephew, Jason Sather of South Carolina; dear friend, Linda Brinker of Eau Claire; and her special friend and companion, Joel Mikelson of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Marion; two brothers, Elmer and Leonard.\r\nA private graveside service will be held at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving her family.\r\nThe family wishes to thank the caring staff at Northwest Homecare Hospice and Angelspace for all they have done for Ollie.\r\n
