Obituary

Pamela A. Stringer, 45, of Altoona died unexpectedly, Thursday, January 3, 2002 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born on June 26, 1956 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to William and Joanne (Gunderson) Stringer.\r\nShe was office manager at Wissota Sand and Gravel Company and was employed there for 24 years. Pam was a very loyal and dedicated employee, who will be missed by current and former employees. \r\nShe was an active member, secretary, and bingo chairperson for American Legion Auxiliary Unit 53. Pam was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1981.\r\nPam is survived by her many friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David.\r\nThere will be a 10:45 a.m. prayer service by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 53 followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2002 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Rolf A. Nestingen officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Mondovi. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
