Parlen J. Amdahl, 93, of formerly of Mount Washington Residence, died Friday, July 19, 1996 at Lakeside South Nursing Home, Chippewa Falls. He was born October 30, 1902 in Caryville, Wisconsin to Peter and Julia (Market) Amdahl. Parlen married Myrtle Johnson November 8, 1930 in the Town of Wheaton. He retired from Uniroyal after thirty six years of service. \r\nSurvivors include a son, Richard of Phoenix, AZ, two grandchildren, Michael and Andrea Amdahl of San Diego, CA; a sister, Gelia Sorenson of Eau Claire and nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle in 1986; sisters.Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 4 to 8 P.M. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the Church.\r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
