Patricia L. Murphy, age 87, of Eau Claire, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire. Pat was born on December 14, 1929, in New London, WI, the daughter of Donald and Loretta (Bricco) Devine. She graduated from Bear Creek High School with the Class of 1947. She married Tom Murphy on October 28, 1950, in Bear Creek, WI. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2014. Pat was a member of St. Olaf's Catholic Church for many years. Pat enjoyed shaking dice, playing card games, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. She had a life-long hobby of ice skating at Sam Davey Elementary School ice rink. Pat and Tom loved the Green Bay Packers and attending their games. They also enjoyed trips to Florida in the winter months. She is survived by her children, Joan Murphy of Chippewa Falls, Michael Murphy of Chippewa Falls, Colleen Chamberlin of Stillwater, MN and Florida, and Thomas Murphy of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Ryan and Katelin Murphy and Brittan and Jake Chamberlin. Pat was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and son-in-law, Craig Chamberlin. A service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at the WEST CHAPEL location of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave, Eau Claire, with Father Del Malin officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the WEST CHAPEL. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Eau Claire.
