Patricia A. Riphenburg, 55, of Eau Claire died Wednesday, February 23, 2005, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Eau Claire on October 27, 1949, the daughter of Russ and Inga (Gunderson) Begley. She graduated from North High School with the class of 1967.\r\nPatricia married Larry D. Riphenburg in Eau Claire on May 24, 1969, at Hope Lutheran Church.\r\nShe worked as a quality control auditor at Hutchinson Technologies.\r\nIn her free time, she loved to spend time with her family and shop every chance she had. \r\nSurvivors include her husband, Larry; and two daughters, Julie (Mark) Bender of Eau Claire and Anita (Dan) Blair of Mondovi; two half-brothers, Richard (Janet) Begley and Robert (Arlene) Begley, both of Chippewa Falls; mother-in-law, Jeanette Riphenburg; two sister-in-laws, Elaine (William "Butch") Erickson of Racine and Barb (John) Radke of Neillsville; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Begley; and her father-in-law, Floyd Riphenburg.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2005, at Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor Randy Olson officiating. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery in the Village of Lake Hallie. Family and friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
