Patricia Ann Schneider, 77, of Eau Claire, died after a short but courageous battle with cancer on Monday, August 29, 2016. Pat was born on September 4, 1938, to William and Margaret (Candell) Kurtz. She married Kenneth Schneider on November 26, 1958, and had four children that she dearly loved. Pat worked many years as a homemaker, returning to the workforce and retiring from Target. Pat cherished the time she spent with her family and her beloved group of close friends. The Wisconsin winters could not end soon enough for her as she loved to bring her garden back to life. Pat enjoyed local theatre and maintaining and decorating the beautiful family home she treasured. Pat is survived by her children and their families: Jeanne (Ken) Boardman; Dan Schneider and his daughters, Cassie and Brittany; Debbie (Alfred) Martinez and their daughter, Rianna (Will); and Patrick (Gina) Schneider and their children, Gretchen and Harry. She is also survived by her sister, Kathy (Dave) Ayers; and brothers, Bill (Ardell) Kurtz and Jim (Pat) Kurtz; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; parents; and a sister, Sandy Niehoff. Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at the WEST CHAPEL location of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Avenue in Eau Claire with Father Biju Kunjukutty officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service Saturday at the WEST CHAPEL. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Eau Claire.
