Swenson
October 20, 1941 – May 27, 2025
Patricia Lynn Swenson, 83, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on May
27, 2025. She was born on October 20, 1941, to Boyd and Dolores (Remen) Dacey in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She graduated from Logan High School in LaCrosse with the class of 1960. She was active in many high school organizations.
Pat moved to Los Angeles, California in January 1963 where she worked at Traid Corporation in Encino, CA until June 1966.
Pat married Charles Swenson on July 24, 1965, in Santa Monica, CA. Their lovely daughter, Carrie Lynn, was born in October 1966. Pat was a stay-at-home mom until October 1974, when she started working for J.C. Penney.
Wanting to raise their daughter in a smaller community, Pat and Chuck left southern
California in June 1978. They traveled for a month in their camper before deciding that Eau Claire, WI was the place to live. Pat continued to work for J.C. Penney until retiring after 34 years in September 2007.
Pat enjoyed her family more than anything, with she and Chuck taking many trips with Carrie's family. Pat and Chuck traveled the world visiting 55 countries together, mostly on cruises.
Pat was an avid walker in the Town of Seymour, so much so that people would recognize her in the community from doing so. She participated in many charity walk/runs and won a few awards. She played golf with Chuck for many years, enjoyed reading, playing Soduko, and going to the gym. She loved spending time at her cabin at Boulder Lodge on Ghost Lake near Hayward, WI.
