Patricia Mae Voss, age 88, of Eau Claire, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014, at Syverson Nursing Home following a severe stroke. The former Patricia Mae Kelley was born on October 2, 1925, in Eau Claire to Onie and Clarence Kelley. Patricia graduated from St. Patrick's High School in Eau Claire. She began working at the Telephone Company as soon as she graduated from high school. In 1946 she met and then later married Glenn Voss, her husband of 66 years on January 17, 1948. Pat also worked for Co-op and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire again as a telephone operator. She resided in Eau Claire all of her life where she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, all genres of music, roller skating, getting together with and helping out her friends, as well as riding motorcycles with Glenn. Patricia is survived by her husband, Glenn Voss; son, Terry Voss; daughter-in-law, Mary Voss: their two children Caroline and Coleman; daughter, Kelley Voss and her four children Brandi, Nikki, Christopher and Michael; grandson, Ronnie Powell; daughter, Patti and her husband Mike and her family; and also 9 great grand children. Preceding Patricia in death are her parents; daughter, Kathy Powell, and an infant brother. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 322 Fulton St. in Eau Claire on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Fr. George Thayilkuzhithottu officiating. There will be visitation prior to the funeral Mass beginning at 9:30 a.m. The interment will take place in the spring at Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire.
