Paul Michael Trantow, age 45, of Eau Claire, WI passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Paul was born on February 16, 1981 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Michael and Kristi (Anderson) Trantow. Paul enjoyed long car rides, listening to music, and spending time with family and all those who watched over him at the REM-Wisconsin group home. Paul was loved and adored by all who met him.

Paul is survived by his parents: Michael (Allison) Trantow and Kristi (Jeff) Gregg of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; his brother, Mitchell (Erin) Trantow of Port Edwards, WI; step siblings, Riley Charette of Kimberly, WI and Megan Charette of Tampa, FL; nephew, Dylan Musch of Appleton, WI, nephew, Aiden Trantow and niece, Alaina Trantow of Port Edwards, WI.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Douglas and Norma Trantow and Arthur and Virginia Anderson and sister, Nicole Musch.

There will be a celebration held at a later date to honor Paul's life and his organ donation that has helped save many lives.

The family would like to give special thanks to Lisa Olson and the whole staff at REM-Wisconsin as well as the entire teams from Mayo Hospital Eau Claire and UW Health for providing peace to us at this difficult time.
