Pearl M. Crank, 96, of Eau Claire, died Friday, August 3, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire. She was born on a family farm in Bennett Valley, Eleva, WI on September 12, 1921, a daughter of Peter and Mathilda (Olson) Johnson. She married Kenneth F. Crank on May 29, 1946, in Livingston, Montana. Pearl was a kind, compassionate, and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family very much and always put others first. Visits with family, cooking, baking sweets, and keeping an immaculate home were some things she enjoyed doing. Pearl also enjoyed her and Ken's yearly trips to Branson, Missouri and occasional games of cribbage. She was also a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church. Pearl is survived by her daughter, Neosha (Roy) Clickner of Elk Mound; son, Randy (Barb) Crank of Mondovi; son-in-law, Paul Larsen of Brainerd, MN; 7 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken, in October 19, 2017; 5 children, Bill and Ruby Nelson, Larry and Connie Crank, and Becky Larsen; and siblings, Lawrence (Agnes) Johnson, Hilma Johnson, Lillian (Henry) Austin, Myrtle (Art) Albertson, Palmer (Delta) Johnson, Harry (Ethel) Johnson, Gladys (Ken) Rickey, and Ruby Johnson. Although she will be missed deeply here on earth we are so thankful she is now reunited with all of her loved ones in heaven. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Cornerstone Apostolic Church, 110 Independence Dr., Elk Mound, with Pastor Roy Clickner officiating. Entombment will be at Hope Catholic Cemetery in Chippewa Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving her family. In lieu of flowers, Pearl's family requests that donations are made to a charity of your choice.
