Pearl F. Kohls, 89, of 815 Chapin St, Eau Claire died, Monday, April 21, 2003, at Luther Hospital. She was born on April 13, 1914, in Eau Claire the daughter of Ernest and Hilda (Swanson) Myers. She attended Eau Claire Schools. Pearl married Harvey H. Kohls on October 21, 1939, in Waukon, Iowa.\r\nShe was employed at Huebsch Laundry for twenty years. Pearl was a lifelong member of Chapel Heights United Methodist Church where she was a member of Martha Circle.\r\nSurvivors include her four sons, Robert E. (Patty) Kohls of Fridley, MN, Richard Kohls of Lowell, AR, Louis Kohls of St. Cloud, MN and Keith (Diana) Kohls of Eau Claire; daughter, Jean L. Thorp of Eau Claire; thirteen grandchildren, Kris Esenberg. Kevin Kohls, Lynn Bogues, Kathy Hermann, Jeanne Peterson, Susan, Michael, Wade, and Leah Kohls, Robert and Mat Thorp, Jerome and Gary Kohls; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Helen (Wayne) Larson Eau Claire; two daughters-in-law, Carol Kohls of Indianapolis, IN and Betty Kohls-Capek of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Evelyn Myers of Eau Claire; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey in 1978; a daughter, Delores Ann Kohls; two sons, Herbert and Harvey Kohls; son-in-law, Dale Thorp; sister, Evelyn Laursen; and two brothers, George and Clarence Myers. \r\nMemorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2003, at Chapel Heights United Methodist Church with Pastors Richard H. Strait and James Harrington officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
