PEARL BERNICE (JOHNSON) LOVVIK, age 77, of 806 Dodge St., was called home to be with her Lord on May 29, 1999. She passed away at home surrounded by her family and close friends.\r\nPearl was born in Rock Island, Illinois on July 17, 1921 to Lloyd and Cleo (Bell) Johnson. She moved to the Bennett, WI area while a child, and moved to Eau Claire as a teenager where she resided the rest of her life. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1938. Pearl married Oscar "Bill" Lovvik on December 30, 1939 in Eau Claire. She was a homemaker and worked for Lutheran Brotherhood Insurance.\r\nPearl was a member of the Chippewa Valley Gem and Mineral Society, and Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church.\r\nPearl and Bill enjoyed traveling and family times spent at the lake. Their family has many precious memories of times spent together.\r\nSurvivors include a son, Daryl (Sherly) Lovvik of the Philippines; two daughters, Sandra (George) Novak of Foxboro, WI, and Rhonna (John ) Potter of Clearfield, KY; seven grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Oscar who passed away on March 20, 1999; her parents; a brother, Audrey "Dale" Johnson and a granddaughter Victoria Averyl Lovvik.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Morris Vold officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the town of Washington. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.\r\nHer family requests memorials be directed to St. Joseph's Home Hospice or Sacred Heart Regional Cancer Center.
