Phyllis R. Johnson, 82, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at Dove Healthcare. She was born in Osseo, Wisconsin on June 5, 1922, the daughter of Herman and Minnie (Martinson) Wagner. She married Dutee C. Johnson on July 2, 1946 in Eau Claire.\r\nPhyllis lived her life as a stay-at-home mother. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church where she belonged to the Ladies Aid.\r\nSurvivors include her two daughters, Kim Anderson of Eau Claire and Jani (Thomas) Garza of Hartford; five grandsons, Dennis Xiong and Jacob Anderson both of Eau Claire, Ryan, Tanner and Cole Gnatzig of Hartford; sister, Lorraine Borgwardt of Osseo; sister-in-law, Edith Headley of Eau Claire; and nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Dutee in 1993; brother, Duane Wagner; and brother-in-law, Joe Borgwardt.\r\nFuneral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2004 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel A. Hoelter officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
