Ralph Auen was born March 6, 1942. He was raised on a family farm in the New Auburn area. \r\nAfter coming to Eau Claire he lived at Hope Gospel Mission for a short period of time then came to back to Hope Gospel Mission in 2004. He continued to live there untilApril 2007. He worked as a janitor at Oakwood Mall and later Westgate Janitorial. He was a client of Literacy Volunteers and also worked thru Senior Aids. He was a member of Crossroads Church of Chippewa Falls. \r\nA graveside memorial service will be held Thursday November 13, 2008, at 3:30 pm at Rest Haven Cemetery. Ralph was a reserved person but he loved to go out on "Hope Floats" fishing. He loved the men at the Mission.
