IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Regina Elizabeth
Besinger
November 16, 1975 – February 3, 2026
Regina Besinger, born on November 16, 1975, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, due to natural causes. She was born in Tyler, Texas, and spent most of her life in Wisconsin, where she built a home filled with love, laughter, and quiet moments that meant everything to those closest to her.
Regina was the kind of person who found joy in the simple things. She loved settling in to watch true crime documentaries with her furbaby Willow, collecting unique little knickknacks that each told their own story, and spending time in her small flower garden every spring-tending to it with care and patience. In the fall, she could often be found sitting outside, soaking in the scenery, appreciating the calm beauty of the season. Those moments reflected who she was: thoughtful, observant, and content in life's quieter spaces.
Above all else, Regina was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She had a warm sense of humor, a caring heart, and a way of making people feel comfortable just by being herself. Her love for her family was deep and unwavering, and it showed in everything she did.
Regina was preceded in death by her mother, Marsha Ellington; father, Wiley Ellington; brother, James Ellington and sister, Mary Ann Goodwin.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Tessa (Zachary) Erb; son, Matthew Ellington; step-grandchildren, Addy and Landon Erb; brother, Jonathan Ellington; niece, Megan Ellington and nephew, Dakota Ellington.
Though she endured more loss than anyone ever should, she continued to love fiercely and fully.
Private services will be held to honor Regina's life. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes support toward funeral expenses and appreciates all thoughts, prayers, and kindness shared during this difficult time.
Regina's memory will live on in the stories told, the laughter shared, the cool breeze of each Fall, and the quiet moments of reflection she so deeply cherished.
Requiescat in pace momma, I'll hold you in my heart forever and ever.
