Obituary

REINHARDT A. BRUMMOND, 82, 3000 Pine Lodge Road, died suddenly Monday, January 27, 1997 at his home. He was born July 26, 1914 to William and Emilie (Stubbe) Brummond in the Town of Lincoln (Fall Creek). During World War II, Reinhardt married Irene Schacht and served in North Africa and Italy in the United States Army with his brothers, Alfred and Herman. He worked at National Presto Industries, farmed in rural Fall Creek, constructed a motel on the Gulf Coast of Florida in the mid-50's, worked at Ace Transportation in Eau Claire and constructed six homes on the south side of Eau Claire. \r\nSurvivors include two daughters, Cindy of Eau Claire, Vicki (Chris)Sternick of Mt.Vernon,WA; one son, David, Great Falls,MT; one brother, Herman(Evelyn), Eau Claire; three sisters, Elsie(Ernest)Dehnke, Fall Creek, Anna Webinger of Fridley,MN, and Esther Wathke, Marshall,MO; and friend, Larry Hoch of Altoona.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife, Irene, in 1956; his parents; three brothers, August, William and Alfred; and one sister, Goldie Dehnke.\r\nReinhardt was a wonderful father who enjoyed the simple things in life. He will be remembered for his love of traveling to and with his children, for the many "fix-it" projects he was always working on, fishing and taking pictures.
