\r\nRhonda Rae Blomquist, 59, of Eau Claire died January 15, 2011of pancreatic cancer, surrounded by her family.\r\n \r\nRhonda was born November 6th, 1951 in Wausau, Wisconsin to Darwin and Bess (Raeth) Foster. She grew up in Eau Claire and attended North High School where she graduated in 1969. She then met and married Peter Blomquist on September 26th, 1970 at St. John's Lutheran Church and moved with him to Esdaile, Wisconsin where they built a home and life together. Rhonda worked for Jostens, Advertising Unlimited, The Rivertown Newspaper Group and most recently for the NW Conference of the United Church of Christ doing all types of office and clerical work. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, salmon fishing and spending time outdoors.\r\n \r\nRhonda is survived by her husband, Peter Blomquist originally from Bay City; children, Janelle, Jon (Kimberly) and Jeff Blomquist; mother, Bessie Foster; sisters, Connie Reick and Diane (Richard) Finch; brother, Gary (Karen) Foster; grandchildren, Jenna and Isaac, and many nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones.\r\n \r\nFuneral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Peace Lutheran Church, 501 E. Fillmore Ave in Eau Claire with Rev. Mark Schulz officiating. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Peace Lutheran Church and on Friday for one hour prior to the service at church. \r\n \r\nMemorials are preferred to a local food pantry or other charity of donor's choice.
