Richard L. Kohls, 65, of Lowell, AR, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born in Eau Claire on February 9, 1944, the son of Harvey and Pearl (Myers) Kohls.\r\nHe graduated from Altoona High School with the class of 1963.\r\nRichard married Violet Klauer. She passed away in 2001 \r\nRichard is survived by three brothers, Robert E. (Patty) Kohls of Fridley, MN, Louis Kohls of St. Cloud, MN, and Keith (Diana) Kohls of Eau Claire; sister, Jean L. Thorp of Altoona; two sisters-in-law, Carol Kohls of Indianapolis, IN and Betty Kohls-Capek of Milwaukee; many nieces, nephews, cousins; two stepdaughters, Jenny St. Clair and Julie VanAcher; grandchildren and great grandchildren; also by his extended family, Troy Green.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Violet; a sister, Delores Ann Kohls; two brothers, Herbert and Harvey Kohls. \r\nGraveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire with Pastor Jim McKay officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family. \r\n
