Richard F. Panzer, 68, of Alamo, TX, died April 29, 2008, in McAllen, Texas.\r\nHe was born June 19, 1939, in Eau Claire to Raymond and Grace (Fitzpatrick) Panzer. Richard was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. He graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1957.\r\nRichard served his country in the National Guard for three years. \r\nHe worked for Honeywell in Minneapolis and later was employed by East Side Beverage of Arden Hills, MN, until retiring in 2001. He then resided in Alamo, TX in the winters and Milaca, MN in the summers.\r\nHe is survived by three sisters, Jane (Dan) Syverson of Colfax, Mary (Peter) Tharp of Roberts, and Betty (Jim) Baribeau of Eau Claire; a brother, John (Sherrie) of Chippewa Falls; a special dear friend, Shirley Smith of Milaca, MN; seven nieces, Laura Rushmann, Jessica&Libby Baribeau, Keely Khoury, Aiden&Darcy Tharp, Stacy Panzer; two nephews, Wayne and Victor Syverson.\r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Hal A. Schroetter officiating. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.\r\n
