Obituary

Richard "Dick" A. St. Arnauld, age 77 of Eau Claire, died peacefully at his home on Monday, September 1, 2014. He was born to Louis and Alma (Larson) St. Arnauld, in Iron Mountain, MI, on June 15, 1937. He married Kathryn E. Kressin on July 16, 1960, at St. Mary's and St. Joseph's Church in Iron Mountain, MI. They moved to Eau Claire in 1969, after living in the Detroit area for seven years. Dick enjoyed attending various sporting events such as the Eau Claire Blugold's football and basketball games. Dick was an avid traveler and his most recent trip was to see the Brewers during spring training. Dick was employed with the Eau Claire Area School district as a Principal for twenty years before retiring in 1988. Dick is survived by his three children, Brian St. Arnauld of Madison, Jeff (Tonja) St. Arnauld of Madison, and Kevin St. Arnauld of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Alyson Kuehner and Aiden & Nolen St. Arnauld; brothers, Harold (Norma) St. Arnauld of Marquette, MI, and Don (Anne) St. Arnauld of Tarpon Springs, FL; son-in-law, Russ Kuehner; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathryn; and daughter, Debra Kuehner. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at the Newman Parish, at the Ecumenical Religious Center at UW-Eau Claire, 110 Garfield Ave., with a visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church. Father David Olson will be officiating. Interment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery in Eau Claire at a later date.
