Rita J. Peterson, 67, of Eau Claire died Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at her home. She was born June 1, 1934 to Frank and Marie (Nichols) Fox in Eau Claire.\r\nShe graduated with the last graduating class from St. Patrick's High School in 1952. Rita married Frank D. Peterson in Eau Claire on January 30, 1954. \r\nShe worked at Johnson Printing, Pope and Talbot, and Shedd Brown Company until staying home to raise her family.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Frank of Eau Claire; her son Mike Peterson; two daughters, Lori Peterson and Karen Peterson all of Eau Claire; two grandsons, Mike (Jenny) Peterson of Eau Claire and Mark (Angie) Peterson of Colfax; five great grandchildren; her sister Jane (Jim) Deetz of Eleva; many nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents. \r\nFuneral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2002 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.\r\n
