Robert "Bob" W. Taleff, 85, of Eau Claire, died Friday, September 04, 2015, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born May 18, 1930, in Eau Claire, a son of Samuel and Myrtle Taleff in Eau Claire. Robert is survived by his three nephews, David (Janet) Taleff Lake Holcombe, Mike (Vickie) Taleff of Eau Claire and Mark Steinbach of North Dakota; three nieces, Theresa (Leon) Steffen of Eau Claire, Jeannie (Gordy) Anderson of Chippewa Falls and Mary (Dennis) Gehrtz of New Rockford, ND; three great-nephews, Keith Taleff, Luke(Heidi) Steffen, and Benjamin (April) Anderson; four great-nieces, Michelle Mousem, Jennifer (Mark) Kebis, LaRae Gehrtz and Samantha Taleff. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Myrtle; a brother, John (Betty) Taleff; a sister, Elizabeth Steinbach Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 3220 Monroe Street in Eau Claire, with Father Paul Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral & Cremation Services is serving his family.
